BEFORE

NARROWBOAT RESTORATION This narrowboat needed complete restoration. Externally, we fabricated a secure steel hatch to replace the wooden one. We then prepared & welded the hull where necessary, replaced the anodes, blacked the hull and repainted the whole boat.

AFTER

CHASSIS SECTION REPLACED This Landrover Series 2A had a rusty front chassis section. We removed the rusty section and welded a new chassis section in its place. (left) OUTRIGGER REPLACED The rusted outrigger was also removed and a new one welded in place. (right)

COMMERCIAL FISHING BOAT A rudder support (skeg) was fabricated and welded into place on this fishing vessel. A new anode was also welded onto the hull.

CAST IRON WORK This Cast Iron Woodburner had a crack in its base plate. It was also originally a rear exit woodburner, which was unsuitable for the space available & meant the woodburner protruded into the room far more than was necessary or safe. We repaired the crack in the base plate, and totally re-designed the outlet for the flue. This enabled the fire to sit further back into its recess and for the gases to exit via the top. This meant that the space was utilised to its best and the fire did not unecessarily protrude into the main room.

ENGINE CASE/BARREL REPAIR This barrel, from a jet ski, had cracked its water jacket, as shown (before the repair). We carried out a welded repair and it was as good as new afterwards.

MANIFOLD WELDED REPAIR This manifold had welded repairs to its multiple splits and cracks.

MOTORCYCLE FRAMES CUSTOMISED & PARTS FABRICATED This Harley Davidson Electraglide had 3 inches removed from the frame. The shape of the frame was also modified beneath the seat to enable a large battery to be positioned there. The Headstock was raked and the Tank had its underside removed and a new one fabricated to fit the shape of the frame.

DECORATIVE GATES AND RAILINGS This gate was fabricated to fit a custom width at the bottom of a garden. After being welded and fitted, it was hand painted in the customer's choice of colours.
